Wednesday, May 3rd, 2023, the Head of the Transportation Policy Agency (Kepala Badan Kebijakan Transportasi), accompanied by the Head of the Center for Transportation Infrastructure and Moda Integration Policy (Kepala Pusat Kebijakan Prasarana Transportasi dan Integrasi Moda), Ministry of Transportation made a field visit to the Cikarang Dry Port.

The visit was welcomed by the Board of Directors of Cikarang Dry Port, Benny Woenardi – President Director, Noor Yusuf – Director and Erlangga Mantik – Commissioner. This activity was carried out in the context of formulating policies to increase logistics efficiency through the development of dry port and is a form of collaboration between the Transportation Policy Agency and Gadjah Mada University.

The Head of the Transportation Policy Agency, Gede Pasek Suardika said that the development of dry port could be an entry point and strategy for the government in an effort to stimulate regional development activities so that later it would create a broad multiplier effect for the community.
