On March 14, 2025, PT. Maharddhika Bersama Petani, part of the Indonesia Export Channel, proudly launched their first export to Saudi Arabia. The shipment consisted a coconut which was processed and exported through Cikarang Dry Port.<\/p>\n

According to a BBC News Indonesia, this marks a significant milestone, as historically, Arab traders brought coconuts to the Middle East and East Africa. Now, Saudi Arabia once again requires coconuts as a food commodity, making this export both relevant and significant.<\/p>\n
