The Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs and Cikarang Dry Port, in collaboration with The Logistics Institute Asia Pacific (TLIAP) and the National University of Singapore (NUS), held a workshop with the theme “Envisioning ASEAN Logistics Connectivity: Indonesia (TLI-ALC-I) Programme. ” This activity aims to open insights and understanding of the logistics and supply chain landscape, opportunities and challenges in logistics development, as well as to open networks and identify future business opportunities.<\/p>\n
President Director of Cikarang Dry Port, Benny Woenardi, was invited to be one of the speakers in a panel discussion with the Assistant Deputy for National Logistics Development of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Atong Soekirman, and several business actors on the topic “Indonesia Supply Chain Thought Leadership” at Graha Sawala, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Monday (15\/07).<\/p>\n
Dr. (HC) Setyono Djuandi Darmono, Chairman and Founder of Jababeka Group, opened the series of workshops on the third day by telling the history, development, and challenges faced by Jababeka until now at the Jababeka Golf & Country Club on Wednesday (17\/07). Then the delegates were invited to visit and see the Cikarang Dry Port facilities.<\/p>\n
The event then moved to the Holiday Inn Jababeka Hotel. There, the workshop held three presentations from several speakers. The first raised the topic “Enhancing ASEAN Logistics and Connectivity through Indonesia’s Future New Economic Corridor” by Ir Bernardus Djonoputro, Chief Executive Officer, Rebana Metropolitan Management Agency, Government of West Java, Republic of Indonesia. The second raised the topic of \u201cStreamlined Hinterland Connectivity by Leveraging Integrated Multimodal Transportation\u201d by Mr. Benny Woenardi, President and Director of Cikarang Dry Port, and the last topic was \u201cConnectivity: A Supply Chain-Based View\u201d by Dr. Darjat Sudrajat, Structural-Faculty Member, BINUS Business School, BINUS University.<\/p>\n
