On Thursday, February 15th, 2024. Sahat Manaor Panggabean, Head of Indonesian Quarantine Agency Republic of Indonesia visited Cikarang Dry Port. It was his first visit to our dry port facilities, together with the board of directors. As international dry port serving export and import activities, flow of cargos at Cikarang Dry Port also include quarantine inspection activities.
The purpose of the visit is to inform there are plans to change the organization of the Quarantine Agency which was previously under the Ministry of Agriculture (Plants and Animals) and the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (Fish Quarantine) becomes the Quarantine Agency under the President.
This visit was welcomed by Benny Woenardi – President Director of Cikarang Dry Port and Noor Yusuf – Director of Cikarang Dry Port. After inspecting the facilities at Cikarang Dry Port, they expressed hope that central examinations can be conducted at CDP.
